The beautiful and
brilliant Tera Patrick was born
on July 25, 1976 in Montana. Her father is a British Jew and her mother is Thai. She was pretty much raised by her father alone in San Francisco, as her mother moved back to Thailand when Tera was still a toddler. She is rumored to be a registered nurse in the state
of California with a degree in Microbiology from UC-Santa Barbara.
She was discovered
in San Francisco when she was 13 and subsequently moved
to New York to pursue a career in modeling. She worked
for Eileen Ford and appeared in Vogue, Harper’s
Bazaar and on the runway until she was 18. At this time,
she quit modeling to attend Boise State University in
Idaho. Tera eventually transferred to UCSB and returned to modeling,
where she met Penthouse photographer Suze Randall, and was shortly named Penthouse Pet
and Hustler Honey.
Tera Patrick gained instant stardom
when she hosted Playboy’s Nightcalls 411. Her success
with Nightcalls led her to audition for a number of Playboy
productions. She landed every role she auditioned for,
including: spokes model for Playboy’s Oasis Campaign;
the lead in two of their feature films, ‘Fast Lane
to Vegas’ and ‘Personals’; the lead
in Playboy’s Home Video, ‘Latin Ladies’;
and several appearances on Sex Court and Helmet Cam.
Sexual
by nature, pornography was always a fantasy of Tera’s.
She fooled around, appearing in a dozen films and more
magazines, until signing an exclusive contract with Digital
Playground. With Tera on board, Digital Playground’s Virtual Sex with Tera Patrick topped the charts, quickly becoming
the BEST SELLING DVD in the history of porn.
In May of
2000, just six months after her initiation into adult
entertainment, Tera walked away from the Cannes Film Festival
with the award for BEST NEW STARLET. To date, Tera has
appeared in AVN, Porn Stars, XXX Movie Illustrated, Amateur
Porn, Biker, Cheri, Club, Club International, Fox, Gallery,
High Society, Hustler, Hustler Beach Girls, Hustler Erotic
Video Guide, Leg World, Mayfair, Model Directory, Penthouse
and Taboo. With plans for subsequent releases, steady
market saturation and name recognition, the future looks
bright for Tera Patrick. |
